This winter, Elaine was invited to join the backstage hair team for Winter New York Fashion Week 2026, working three consecutive days of runway shows.
Over the course of the week, Elaine styled models for multiple designers, collaborating with makeup artists, nail artists, wardrobe stylists, and production teams to execute cohesive runway looks. Backstage at NYFW is controlled chaos — models moving between fittings, lighting adjustments happening in real time, and final touch-ups seconds before lineup.
Each show required a distinct direction. From romantic texture and sculpted movement to clean, architectural finishes, the looks were built to complement the garments while holding up under runway lighting and long show schedules.
For Salon 387, this moment reinforces what clients experience every day in the chair: runway-level skill without the runway pressure. Elaine brings that editorial edge, speed, and technical foundation wherever she goes.
Three days. Multiple shows. Winter NYFW 2026 is officially in the books.
